Music was an excellent style and volume - soft, and fitting for the surroundings - which we find is a rarity in a pub. Nice lighting, lovely Christmas decorations, cozy fireplace! Be aware though, that the lovely old part of the building is the restaurant, and the bar area, while accommodating enough, does not have the same character. Thumbs up for allowing dogs (in the bar). Thanks!
Nice pub with really good food (the handmade pizzas are so tasty! Plus 2-4-1 offer on pizzas from Monday to Thursday, between 5-7:30pm I think)! Great selection of beers also. Waitresses are very kind and service is done quickly.

Having read some good reviews we popped out here for some lunch on a rainy Monday. The pub has a mixed, eclectic feel about it with old and modern furnishing, quite a lot of pine. There is a great 'grocery' stall addition along the main corridor, selling chutneys, spices and nuts etc. The garden looked nice, although we didn't sit outside due to the rain. For Patents: They were able to provide an attachable high chair for our 7 month old, one of those ones which straps onto a chair, which was great. On going to the toilet I was unable to find any changing facilities, so had to attempt to change our son on a hard, cold, marble surface alongside the sink, never before have I been so glad of the extra changes of clothes I arrived around with me to provide him with some head cushioning. It wasn't until after I'd changed him that I noticed a cupboard under the sink, which housed a changing mat and some changing items - would have been really great if they'd put a sign up on the wall saying these were available, as it's a huge shame to provide them so quietly. Food : The food, what can I say, other than amazing!! I had a tuna mayonnaise baguette, and despite me taking my time to get around to eating it, due to feeding our son, the baguette was nice and warm. The salad dressing was subtle but tasty. Not too much, nor too little mayonnaise on the tuna, it was delicious!! Definitely a place to revisit, especially now I know where the changing facility items are! (please put up a sign owner's :-) )
Cosy village pub with a good selection of well known branded drinks and guest ales. Can recommend the food , a tasty selection of traditional pub dishes with daily specials.
